Who's at Risk?
While it can affect any man, Low T most often affects men over the age of 45. Recent research shows that 38.7% of men 45 years of age or over have low testosterone.
Men with type 2 diabetes are at greater risk for having low testosterone. It is estimated that low testosterone affects 33% to 44% of men with type 2 diabetes.
Low T is also often associated with chronic conditions such as erectile dysfunction, HIV, AIDS, and chronic pain.
